Monthly Outreach Events

One Saturday per month, we target a specific area within the midtown region to engage with our neighbors experiencing homelessness and perform surveys as part of the Coordinated Entry System (CES). Each Outreach event begins with a training session to prepare volunteers to find, approach, and engage our homeless neighbors with the goal of completing a CES survey. These surveys are used by various providers to help determine the level of need for each person surveyed and cover their history, physical and mental health, financial status, and veteran status. The surveys are key to matching people with the available resources and getting them on a path off the streets.
